It was the perfect day at Horseneck Beach to bring Emma’s vision for her high school senior photos to life.
A subtle breeze, brilliant blue sky, and billowy clouds created the perfect backdrop for a beautiful session. As the sun began to descend, its warm golden glow highlighted Emma’s long, flowing hair and cast a magical light across the scene.
As we approached the water’s edge, the gentle surf teased the shoreline with bursts of rolling waves. We wanted to take advantage of the soft, muted tones of the sky and ocean to create a beautiful serene bakdrop
But the waves seemed to have other plans-they were calling Emma to come play
She couldn’t resist the invitation and soon found herself laughing and enjoying the surf. What began as a beautiful portrait session turned into a playful, spontaneous moment that perfectly captured Emma’s fun-loving spirit and personality.
While Emma changed into her next outfit, I followed a winding path where the setting sun was just beginning to kiss the horizon. I discovered a beautiful sandy spot tucked in front of the dunes, offering a completely different setting and feel for the next part of her senior portrait session

I earned my Master of Photography degree through the Professional Photographers of America and also hold a Photography Certification. But photography is an ever-evolving art, and the business continues to change and grow. I believe in continually learning and refining my craft, which is why I regularly attend professional photography seminars and workshops and stay current with new techniques, trends, and creative approaches.
For me, photography is more than creating beautiful images—it is about capturing personality, emotion, and connection in a way that feels authentic and timeless.
